The four French Air Force Rafale fighters that were deployed in Chad have flown home on Jul. 29 and they were replaced by four Mirage 2000s, the French Defense Ministry said on Aug. 3.

The fighters return back to their base in Saint-Dizier with support from two C-135 tankers.
The Rafales were in Chad to support Operation Barkhane and have flown 879 missions so far.
