RAF recovering Griffin wreckage Yr Aran mountain

The Royal Air Force has dispatched a CH-47 to help recover the wreckage of a Griffin helicopter that caught fire after an emergency landing on Yr Aran mountain in Scotland Wales on Aug. 9.

The helicopter was on a training mission to pick up people and bring them to the mountain peak when the air crew was forced to make a precautionary landing.

It burst into flames after touching down but luckily all five people aboard escaped unharmed.
