Lockheed Martin’s hangar for T-50A assembly line is now ready

Hangar 11 at the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center (SCTAC) is now ready for Lockheed Martin to assemble the T-50A.

The aerospace giant celebrated the opening of the 38,000-square-foot hangar after a three-month refurbishment on Aug. 16.

Two T-50As are expected to be assembled at the new facility using parts fabricated by KAI. The first T-50A flight is expected to occur in November at SCTAC.
