Six airmen with the 177th Fighter Wing in New Jersey were taken to hospital after they were exposed to hydrazine while working on the emergency power unit on a F-16.

The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Hydrazine is a corrosive and toxic chemical that can irritate the eyes, nose and throat.
