U.S. Navy lost its second T-45C in a month

The U.S. Navy lost a T-45C from VT-9 on Sept. 7 in Mississippi during a routine training mission. The student and instructor were able to eject safely.

A T-45C from VT-21 crashed near NAS Kingsville on Aug. 14 as well. The aircraft was on a night instrument flight, both on board ejected.
