RAF Hawk pilots impart DACT skills to Slovak Air Force

Three Hawk TMK1 jets and from the Royal Air Force’s 100 Squadron were in Sliac Air Base, Slovakia recently and the RAF pilots taught dissimilar air combat training (DACT) techniques to a MiG-29 pilot of Slovak Air Force.

Maj. Ján “Conan” Kurtík of the Slovak Air Force flew in one of the Hawks to observe U.K. tactics and techniques. The cenarios involved two pilots fighting against a single enemy pilot.

One the final day of the exercise, Maj. Kurtík flew a one on one air combat scenario against one of the Hawk instructors in his MiG-29.
