The British government has announced details regarding the first deployment of the Royal Air Force’s Eurofighter aircraft to Japan next month.

Four aircraft from II (AC) Squadron will be at JASDF Misawa Air Base from mid-October to early November, the press release said.
To support the operation, the fighters will be accompanied by Voyager and C-17 aircraft.
The code-name for the exercise is “Guardian North 16” and the JASDF will participate with its F-2 and F-15.
