Royal Thai Army UH-1H crashes

A Royal Thai Army UH-1H crashed as it approach to land at a special forces base in Narathiwat province this morning.


The rotor-craft is said to have suffered a hydraulic system failure before it hit the ground. Four on board survived the crash with injuries.

The aircraft was on its way to pick up Maj. Gen. Ekarat Changkaew, commander of the Narathiwat special unit, and Col Pasit Charnlekha, commander of the 46th paramilitary ranger regiment.
