45 countries sign joint declaration on export and subsequent use of UCAV

A joint declaration on the “Export and Subsequent Use of Armed or Strike-Enabled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)” was signed by the U.S. government and 44 other countries.

Signatories promise to “ensure the responsible export and subsequent use of these systems” as misuse of these UAVs could fuel conflict and instability, and facilitate terrorism and organized crime.
