Four companies given MQ-25 risk reduction contracts

Four aerospace companies have been given risk reduction contracts by the U.S. Navy to modify their MQ-25 designs so that it can act as a airborne refueling tanker.

The last company the get the award was Northrop Grumman. The $35.8 million award was lesser than what Boeing, General Atomics and Lockheed Martin have each received, Flight Global report.
