Two F/A-18s from MCAS Miramar were involved in a mid-air collision off the coast of California on Nov. 9. One of the pilots had to eject from his stricken aircraft and was promptly rescued by SAR assets from USS Carl Vinson.

Admiral Kuznetsov’s escorts chased away Dutch submarine
