T-50A first U.S. flight scheduled on Nov. 17

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) revealed that its T-50A advanced jet trainer will be making its first U.S. flight at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Pilot Training facility in Greenville on Nov. 17.

The flight was supposed to be witnessed by RoKAF Chief of Staff Gen. Jeong Kyeong-doo and Vice Defense Minister Hwang In-moo, however, domestic political issues have prevented them from traveling to the United States.
