The French Air Force has elected to train eagles to track and take down rouge drones. They are part of the MILAD program which will employ electronic jammers as well.

The service says using eagles is ideal during situations whereby the drone cannot be shot down in a crowded area. The eagle will be able to pick up the drone and bring it away.
