Japanese, Spanish aircrew rescue two men in Gulf of Aden

Two men were stranded on upturned skiffs in the Gulf of Aden on Dec. 6. They were spotted by a Japanese P-3 as dawn breaks and soon a Spanish aircraft arrived to relief the JMSDF aircraft while a Spanish warship was dispatched to pick up the men.

The two later was winched aboard a naval helicopter from ESPS Relampago. The ship later took them to Socotra.
