Russian, Turkish Air Forces carried out joint air strike in Syria

A total of thirteen warplanes from Russian and Turkey took part in a joint air strike against ISIL forces in Syria for the first time.

Russia said it assigned four Su-24s, four Su-25s and a Su-34 to the strike mission while Turkey contributed four F-4s and four F-16s.
