A modification program to install a video data transfer system (VDTS) and speed break indicator switch (SBIS) on 446 Air Force and 10 Navy T-38Cs have been completed.

The $50 million VDTS/SBIS program wrapped up its work in December 2016.
With the modifications, the heads-up display will now have a visual indicator of the speed brake position.
