Sometime next week, the U.S. Navy will be testing out a fix to see if the F-35C’s nose wheel still suffers from excessive vertical oscillations during a catapult launch.

First disclosed in December last year, the testing will be carried out at the Navy’s land-base test facility at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
The service will try to reduce the pullback tension on the nose gear when the jet is attached to the catapult.
