Feng explained that the program will succeed under his watch as he will bring in his experience during his tenure at Aerospace Industrial Development Corp (AIDC), now tasked with developing the new jet.
When asked what was the United States’ reaction to Taiwan’s new venture. Feng said he hopes the American’s will be willing to help Taiwanese “learn how to fish” by helping in the development program.
