China’s first woman President visits AIDC

Republic of China President-elect Tsai Ing-wen visited Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) on Mar. 28 and she was given a tour of the company’s facilities in Taichung.



Tsai encouraged AIDC to pursue its program to develop the XT-5, an advanced jet trainer based on the IDF, to meet the RoCAF’s requirements.

AIDC chairman Anson Liao also presented a model of the XT-5 to Tsai.

  1. Horsepucky. The lady isn’t any president of China. The “Republic of China” is a government recognized only by a few central American governments, no more.
