The Australian government has decided that a National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) solution is the best for its Land 19 Phase 7B project.

Raytheon Australia will be the prime contractor for this program to supply the Australian Army with a Ground Based Air and Missile Defence capability.
The decision is controversial as Canberra had decided on the winner without going for a public tender.
