The U.S. Embassy in Philippines has transferred two Cessna 208Bs to the Philippine Air Force during a ceremony at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on Jul. 27.
The embassy said in a release that the donation is part of a “Php15 billion of grant funding to provide the AFP with up-to-date equipment and training. ”
The aircraft will be operated by the 300th Air Intelligence and Security Group (300 AISG), based out of Edwin Andrews Air Base in Zamboanga.
