A U.S. official said Air France flight 293 was 10 minutes from the splash down point of North Korean Hwasong-14 mobile intercontinental ballistic missile in the Sea of Japan on Jul. 28.
The Boeing 777 airliner was carrying 323 people from Tokyo to Paris at the time.
The airline told ABC News that the missile test “don’t interfere in any way with Air France’s flight paths,” and that the flight was operated “without any reported incident.”
