The mid-air collision of a light aircraft and a helicopter on Nov. 17 in Britain killed a Vietnamese Army pilot training to become a military flight instructor.
Vietnam’s Ministry of Defense said Capt. Nguyen Thanh Trung was on a two-month training program. He was a deputy manager of a Vietnamese Army training center.
