RMAF F/A-18D diverted to Kuching due to nose landing gear indicator issue

A Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) F/A-18D had to be diverted to Kuching International Airport on Nov. 28 for a precautionary landing after the nose landing gear indicator indicated a fault.


The crew landed the aircraft safely and the runway was closed for almost an hour.

The jet was heading back to its home base in Butterworth after completing exercise Mini Paradise at Labuan, Sabah.
