In a statement posted on its website, the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) says it wishes to add another three squadrons of combat aircraft as part of its plan to improve the strength of the service.

In addition to that, it desires to have four airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) systems and four tankers. Amphibious aircraft is also included in the wish list.
