Taiwan upgrading the range of various missiles

Taiwan is said to be making progress in upgrading the range of three types of indigenous missiles and the new missiles can enter production after 2020.

The Tien Kung 3 air defense missile will be capable of intercepting ballistic missiles at a new altitude of 70km, from the current 45km.

The air-to-air Tien Chien 2 missile will have its range boosted to 90km and the upgraded IDF fighter will be able to carry four missiles.

The Hsiung Feng III supersonic anti-ship missile has also shown to be able to fly for 240 seconds at Mach 3.2. Setting its range at more than 300km. Existing Hsiung Feng III has a range of 150km.
