Russia has completed development of airborne anti-satellite laser weapon

Russia is said to have completed the development of a laser weapon that is capable of targeting satellites.

The next step is to integrate it on an airborne platform. An anonymous source said a new aircraft will be develop to host the weapon.

Much of the research is based on the A-60 laser laboratory that was started by the Soviets.
