RAF Tornado G4s now protected by BriteCloud

Leonardo says it has started delivering its BriteCloud decoy to the Royal Air Force for deployment on the Tornado G4 fighter-bomber.

The company said in the press release that the RAF is the first air force in the world to field this new countermeasure system.

Resembling a soda can, BriteCloud is an electronic radar jamming system that can fit into a fighter’s chaff and flare dispenser without modifications.
