Taiwan wants to import 600 ring laser gyroscope from U.S.

Taiwan’s Up Media reported on Apr. 23 that country’s National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology – the island’s weapons research institute – is seeking to import at least 600 ring laser gyroscopes (RLG) from the United States.

Journalist Chu Ming says the RLGs are needed for the Hsiung Feng IIE cruise missile and Yun Feng ballistic missile. This indicates Taiwan is ramping up production of the Hsiung Feng IIE and laying the groundwork for Yun Feng.
