The Japanese Defense Ministry’s Tohoku Defense Bureau has lodged a complain with the U.S. Air Force after video footage showing a F-16 from Misawa Air Base flying low over Japan was uploaded online.
Misawa Air Base confirmed that the video was authentic and the fighter was from one of the units assigned there. The U.S. military admitted that the jet flew below the minimum altitude at some points during the flight.
