The editorial board of the Wall Street Journal is urging the Trump administration to sell the latest variant of the F-16 to Taiwan in order for the island to mount a credible defense against China.

The article also suggested that used fighters are offered to Taiwan for lease as a stopgap until the F-35B becomes available to Taiwan.
