Taiwan’s next three Tuo Chiang-class corvettes will be configured for anti-air duties

Taiwan’s Minister of National Defense Yen De-fa told members of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that the next three Tuo Chiang-class corvettes to be built will be equipped for air defense missions.

The ships will be ready by 2025 and they are said to be equipped with 3D search radars and Tien Chien II missiles. The shipyards to construct the three warships are to be selected after open bidding.
