The U.S. Navy has selected a Raytheon-Kongsberg team for its over-the-horizon missile competition.

The team had pitched the Naval Strike Missile to arm the Littoral Combat Ship and guided missile frigate replacement.
The sailing branch will buy eight missiles in fiscal year 2019 with plans to procure 64 missiles later.
