Australia orders six MQ-4Cs

Australia will spend $1.4 billion to acquire the first of six MQ-4Cs for the Royal Australian Air Force.

$364 million from the $1.4 billion will be spent on new facilities at RAAF Base Edinburgh and RAAF Base Tindal, as well the necessary ground control systems, support and training.

All six unmanned aircraft are to be fully operational by late 2025.
