Iran has managed to overhaul and upgrade 10 Su-22 fighter-bombers, the country announced at a ceremony on Jul. 25.
Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh says the fighters are now able to employ precision-guided munitions and datalink with unmanned aircraft.
Hajizadeh added that the Su-22s will eventually carry long-range cruise missiles.
