Head of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, has cautioned that his pilots are not getting enough sleep and wants the Institute of Aerospace Medicine to come up with a solution.

Respondents to a survey conducted by the institute say they were prone to drowsiness in the cockpit due to sleep deprivation.
Dhanoa added that one MiG-21 pilot was killed while landing due to continuous sleep deprivation.
