South Korea launches first submarine equipped with vertical launching missile tubes

South Korea has launched its first Chang Bogo class III submarine SS-083 Dosan Ahn Chang-ho at Okpo Shipyard on Sept. 14.


The 3,000-ton submarine has six vertical launch tubes that can fire ballistic or cruise missiles.
