Japanese conglomerate Subaru was given the task to carry out the regular servicing of a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B at Camp Kisarazu but the task is taking much longer than expected.

The periodic maintenance was expected to be completed in three to four months. Work began in February last year and Saba was expected to take seven months to complete the job as it was doing it for the first time. However, as of September this year, the tilt-rotor is still waiting to undergo its functional flight checks.
