JS Ise will get to hunt a Los Angeles-class SSN during SUBCOMP

The U.S. Navy is sending a Los Angeles-class attack submarine (SSN) to participate in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Submarine Competition (SUBCOMP) in waters south of Japan, Feb. 13 to 20.

Hyuga-class helicopter destroyer JS Ise is participating in the exercise along with other Japanese maritime assets.
