BAE Systems is proceeding to the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) and initial operational test and evaluation (IOT&E) phases of the Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS) upgrade for the F-15E.
The new system is designed to replace the Tactical Electronic Warfare Suite (TEWS) in service for more than 30 years.
