A classified German military document viewed by Reuters says the country needs near $10 billion to operate its Tornado fighter fleet till 2030.

$6.269 billion is required for operations while $1.62 billion is needed to design replacements for obsolete parts and another $1.78 billion to procure those parts.
$6.269 billion + $1.62 billion + $1.78 billion = just under $10 billion, not $1 trillion. That number makes much more sense….
