Doubts remain as to whether INS Vikramaditya can participate in exercise Varuna

Sources in the Indian Navy headquarters told The New Indian Express that INS Vikramaditya is still scheduled to take part in exercise Varuna with French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.

However, word from INS Kadamba Naval Base, where the ship is now based, says the carrier is unlikely to take part after the fire last week.
