India will soon have a second radar imaging spy satellite in space orbit with the launch of RISAT-2BR1 on May 22.

The satellite uses a X-band synthetic aperture radar with a resolution of 1 meter.
The first RISAT-2 was successfully deployed on Apr. 20, 2009.
