MQ-25A expected to start flying this year

A U.S. Navy officer has said that the MQ-25A carrier borne unmanned aerial refueling tanker will be making its first flight this year.


The aircraft is now at MidAmerica airport. Program Executive Officer for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons Rear Adm. Brian Corey says the team is now checking with the FAA and FCC to get the necessary clearance for first flight.
