BAE Systems to merge guidance sections of APKWS II into one

Currently, the guidance section of the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) is split into rotatory wing and fixed wing units.

A contract awarded to BAE Systems will see the company merging those two guidance sections into one hardware and software solution. The work is expected to be completed by April 2021.
