Leonardo’s BriteCloud active expendable decoy has attracted the attention of the U.S. Air National Guard which will be carrying out a Foreign Comparative Test (FCT).
If successful, this could lead to adoption by other services.
Testing will be done using the AN/ALE-47 countermeasure dispensers on the ANG’s F-16s. It is expected to last two to three years.
