China’s defense researcher Liu Yongtan, who was honored with the top science award for his work on ship-based Over-the-Horizon (OTH) radar, says his radar can help detect stealthy aircraft and are impervious to attacks from anti-radiation missiles.
Liu says the attacking missile’s antenna is not wide enough to home in to the frequencies of his OTH radar.
