According to Todd Humphreys, a professor at the University of Texas, the jamming signal is so strong that it could be detected from space using instruments aboard the International Space Station.

What is worrying is that the signal has recently grown stronger that it affects civilian flights in Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport, as well as around Cyprus’s Larnaca International Airport.
