Boeing has decided it that will no longer participate in the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent competition to supply a new ballistic missile for the Air Force.
The company had been shortlisted together with Northrop Grumman. However, it says the current acquisition approach “does not provide a level playing field for fair competition.”
