There has been rumors that the new F-16s that Taiwan wishes to buy come with IRST on board. A scale model being exhibited by Lockheed Martin at Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) shows a IRST pod on station 5L.

However, the shape of the pod is unlike the Legion Pod that Lockheed Martin is producing for the U.S. military.
It is shorter in length and the air inlet is located at the bottom of the pod.
